Founder & CEO
Dr. Danielle Goddard-Ellis is a proven educational leader with over 20 years of experience in Maryland and across the nation. She possesses a laser-like focus on leadership development and change management. Her long-standing career and deep passion lie in supporting school districts, school leaders, and leadership teams through strategic planning that identify pertinent needs for improved systems and structures that ensure ALL students have access to high quality learning experiences. Although Danielle’s educational career includes suburban, and rural schools, her passion is urban education as both a teacher, principal, leadership coach, and professional development facilitator.
As the Founder and CEO of D. Goddard Educational Consulting, Danielle has an unwavering passion to align school improvement with equitable teaching and learning practices where all students achieve success and have access to optimum life experiences post school. A child’s educational experiences should NOT be limited to a postal zip code or where their family can afford to live. Partnering with D. Kimberly Washington, Ed.D.

Dr. Kimberly Washington serves as the Chief Learning Officer for D. Goddard Educational Consulting, where she leads the design and continuous improvement of high-impact learning experiences that build leadership capacity and drive organizational effectiveness. With over 20 years of experience in education and leadership development, Kimberly specializes in adult learning design, executive coaching, instructional leadership, and systems-level change.
In her role, she aligns learning strategy with organizational goals, ensuring professional development is rigorous, relevant, and results-oriented. Kimberly brings a strong equity lens to her work, helping leaders translate vision into action and cultivate cultures of excellence and accountability.
Michael Thurston
Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Michael Thurston serves as the Chief Operations Officer for D. Goddard Educational Consulting. Michael brings over 15 years of experience as a senior operations and logistics leader with prior experiences including non-profit organizations and the medical field. Michael has a proven track record of procurement, designing and scaling busines initiatives as well as improving operational efficiency.
Jenelle Bryant, MA
Leadership Associate
As an educator at heart, Mrs. Jenelle Bryant has spent her career transforming the educational landscape for young learners and their families. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, she has dedicated over a decade of her career fostering a love for literacy in the nation's capital, empowering students to reach their full potential. With a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and a Master of Teaching in Early Childhood Education from Howard University, she has developed an expertise as a literacy coach and reading interventionist. Jenelle has transitioned into educational consulting as a professional development specialist and facilitator. In these roles, she facilitates asynchronous online courses tailored for language-diverse classrooms and trains stakeholders in education nationwide on aligning their instruction with the Science of Reading. Recently, Jenelle joined D. Goddard Educational Consulting as a Leadership Associate. In this role, she manages the pilot early literacy program including 30 teachers in nearly 20 schools and 8 assigned coaching supporting a large urban school district.
